Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 on the Town Common
WES Chorus starts singing shortly after 4:00p
Tree Lighting at 4:30 pm

We will be starting the decorating of the trees and Creamery Pier in the downtown area starting on Tuesday, November 14th and continuing throughout the week.
Looks like the weather is going to cooperate with 40+ temperatures throughout the week.
We have the railing on the Creamery Pier, 30 Christmas trees (coming Monday) as well as a number of crab apple / apple / hardwood trees (wrapping of the tree trunks and branches) throughout the downtown area. We also have the trees and bushes on the Town Common and the Welcome to Wiscasset sign to decorate as well.
We are looking for volunteers who might want to help us out with this decorating, a couple hours here or a couple hours there, one day or more depending on your schedule.
We are also scheduled with the Fire Department (Ladder Truck) on Friday, November 17th, to set up and do the colored lights on the Town Tree for the upcoming Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, Saturday, December 2nd.
 
To start, we will be meeting on the drive between the Veterans Memorial and the Municipal building at 9:00a on Tuesday, November 14th.

If you are unable to help during the week but would like to help decorate the downtown, here is another opportunity this coming Saturday, November 11th,
