The Senior Center of Wiscasset, Inc. is a Maine not-for-profit corporation and has received tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, i.e., 501 (c) 3.
The Senior Center of Wiscasset, Inc. has, from its beginnings, fundraised for equipment and furniture, and making life at the Center easier and more enjoyable for our members. The Center, among other things, has replaced chairs and tables; added a warming oven in the kitchen, and replaced the window blinds with insulated ones.
We accept any size financial donations in order to continue improvements and to add services for our members. Donations may be made in memory of a loved one, thanks for finally achieving retirement, or any reason you wish.
Wiscasset Senior Center Scholarship Fund, Inc.
The Wiscasset Senior Center Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a Maine not-for-profit corporation and has received tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, / e, 501 (c) 3.
The Scholarship Fund began as an idea for a memorial for a member's husband. The Scholarship Fund was created to recognize the value of hands-on work. We seek applications from the current High School graduates living in Alna, Westport and Wiscasset.
In the past, the Scholarship Fund has made awards to graduates seeking training and education in such fields as the culinary arts, automotive repairs, and home builders.
We are seeking donations to continue assisting our graduates to achieve their dream. Our young people need to follow their instincts as to their future life's work. Donations may be made in memory of a loved one, thanks for the achievements of a child, or any reason you wish.
Please make the check payable to Senior Center of Wiscasset, or Wiscasset Senior Center Scholarship Fund, and mail (or drop it off) at 242 Gardiner Rd. Our treasurer will mail an acknowledgement to you. Please keep the letter with your tax work papers.
