Community Craft Show

Easter Egg Hunt

WCC Easter Egg Hunt

Check In 11:00 am

Egg Hunt Begins at 11:15 am

Cost $2 per child

Open to area children

grades 4 and younger

The Wiscasset Community Center will be sponsoring their annual Easter Egg Hunt

This activity will be held in the gym at the Community Center. (If BBfield is dry may be held there will know day of hunt)

Pre registration not required

Must bring your own container or basket.

Easter bunny will stop by to visit at 11am

Kickboxing Cardio

Free Kickboxing Cardio Demonstration

6am - 7am WCC Gym

That's right we are going to offer an early morning workout.

Get your excercise in before work and school.

Learn punches, elbo/knee strikes, and kicks, Increase cardiovascular health, core strength, and overall stamina!

Come and try out the class. Meet our new instructor Nadene Tafel

Nadene is also certified to run other fitness programs so come in and let's see if we can start a fitness plan for you!

Teen Dance

7:00-9:30 p.m.

Dances at the Community Center are a blast! For students in grade 6-8 who attend Wiscasset Middle School, live in Wiscasset or are Members of the WCC. Dances are held throughout the school year.

Cost: $5 per child

Non-WMS students who are not WCC members are welcome to Teen Nights and Dances when accompanied by a WMS student or WCC member, with written permission from their parents and the approval of the Director. All requests must be made at least two days in advance.

Trivia Night 6:30pm Hosted by Warren Cossette and his students from the Middle School. This is a all generation trivia event.

9:00am Historical Re-enactor Reads the 1760 Pownalborough Incorporation Document at Community Center Color Guard, cannon firing. (Free)

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES at the Wiscasset Community Center (Weather permitting)

10:00 Dog Sled Demonstration by Glenn Plyer

10 -12 Morning Cross-country and snowshoe guided tours

2-4pm Snowmobile Rides, Bonfire, hot chocolate, Sledding, outside games. (Free)

5pm Spaghetti Dinner (Senior Center) $3 (under 12years old $5 per person $15 per family

5:30pm (Dusk)Fireworks over the WHS Ball field

7 - 9pm Sock Hop (all ages) Cost: Tickets in Advanced $5.00 per family $8 per family at the door. WCC Gym

Father Daughter Dance

9th Annual Father Daughter Dance

For all ages

Semi-formal dress is encouraged. DJ Geoff McCarren of B&M Music Services will be providing the music and photographer Dave Cleaveland with Maine Imaging will be on site to capture those "special moments"

Tickets can now be purchased in advance at frontdesk.

Cost $5 per couple $2 each additional daughter.

Dolly & Me Fall Tea Party

For grade K - 6th Girls and their favorite dolls are invited to this fun filled tea party. Lunch, snacks dancing and more.

Enjoy an unforgettable fun filled adventure, Whitewater Rafting on the Kennebec, one of Maine's most scenic rivers. An experienced Maine Whitewater Guide will take you down river where you will enjoy a day of fun and excitement.

Mother/Son Dance

4th Annual Mother-Son Dance

A chance for boys and their moms (or Grandmother, aunts, big sister or special mentor friend) to dress up and have a night on the town! Semi-formal dress is encouraged. Music will be provided by DJ Geoff McCarren of B&M Music Services. Photographer Dave Cleaveland of Maine Imaging will be on site, if you wish to purchase pictures that capture that "special moment".

You are encouraged to come to the Community Center and participate in the Child Identification Program (CHIPS) sponsored by the Masons of Wiscasset, Lincoln Lodge #3. This program is designed to gather crucial information on children (ages: infant – 16 yrs), in order to assist in an investigation.
